Sustainability is at the core of our ethos at Kota Jewelry. There is no Planet B and we feel that it is our duty to help protect the Earth, not only for us, but for all beings that inhabit it.

• By selecting estate/vintage/antique jewelry, you are preventing damage caused by mining to the planet that we call home by giving previously loved pieces that are already in the retail stream another life.
• New creations from Kota Jewelry's original line are made with recycled and/or LBMA-certified gold and reclaimed stones are used whenever possible.
• All of our designs are made-to-order, thereby eliminating unnecessary production and excess stock.
• Choosing solid gold pieces helps stop the waste that results from plating/rolling/filling, where the gold eventually wears off and usually concludes in the consumer throwing the item out. Furthermore, the plating process requires the use of toxic chemicals that are detrimental to the environment.
• Kota Jewelry's packaging consists of materials that are natural, compostable, biodegradable, recycled, recyclable, and/or reusable. We also provide a discreet packaging option that allows clients to have their order shipped with minimal packaging if they so wish.
